RIM BlackBerry Developer Items
(Jan
1 2003) OK, its official, this site is in desperate need of a real
update. I know and I'm sorry I've let this slip. I'm sure many people
can say the same, but this has been a very rough year for me and I just
haven't been able to make time for updates. This is just a public acknowledgement
that yes, I know I need to work on things here and I plan to do so this
year. :)
(June
6) Part 3 of my commentary on WES is now
available.
(May
10) Part 2 of my commentary on WES is now
available.
(May
8) I'm just getting back into things after attending the Wireless
Enterprise Symposium last week and then the Star
Wars Celebration immediately after. I will be posting a series of
commentaries about the event (the BlackBerry one :) this week before
jumping onto another plane and heading for WAVE.
(Apr
23) ExpenseMinder 1.1 is now available from the Order
section of the website.
Are you going to the RIM
Symposium in Atlanta next week? Check back next week for an update
of how it went!
(Mar 19) ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the threat of Litigation from the Attachmate
Corporation, the software package which I called
"Attachmate" is no longer available. A new renamed version
will be available soon. Until then the product is now called "The Application Formerly Known as Attachmate" or TAFKAA.
Welcome
to RIM Developer Resources
Hi There! Welcome to my little corner of
the net. This little collection of pages are devoted to sharing
information about developing applications of two-way pagers from Research
In Motion (RIM). If you aren't familiar with them, go visit the RIM
Home Page to learn more.
New content is appearing slowly, but
surely. I have begun a FAQ, and the Downloads page is filling up. New
Software links are being added all the time as I find out about them.
I welcome all comments about this web site,
especially new information to add. I've searched far and wide for
references to products, software or code relating to the pagers and have
posted everything I've found here. I will also be creating a lot of my own
content to add including applications and source code. But that will be a
little later. Right now, I simply have a bunch of links.
If you have any comments what-so-ever,
please email me.
