RIMWalker v1.0

RIMWalker is an innovative development tool for the RIM Inter@ctive pagers. In short, it allows you view and manager the data in your pager’s databases. Applications can create their own databases at any time. Often it is necessary to delete databases that were created by an application that is no longer installed on your pager. Without RIMWalker, this can be very difficult! It can also be used to figure out the database structure of another application that you wish to interface with. Again, this is something that can be very difficult without a tool such as RIMWalker.

When you start RIMWalker for the first time, you are presented with a warning screen. Its very important to understand that deleting databases or records which are being used by another application can cause that application to crash causing a pager reset. This is mostly due to the other program not being written to handle such a scenario. In fact, the Messages application is one such application. As such, you should exercise extreme caution when deleting databases or records.
